Is there a link for correct forum covering injector issues. Mk4.5 2011 2.0 163 tdci injector no.3 puffing. Smoking leaking. Took it to an engine specialist in Teesside who I won,t mention but they removed no.3 injector.

The relay is an internal part of the bcm and can not be changed, if the fuse is ok and getting power then the next step would be to check for power and ground at the fuel pump connector. Sometimes beating on the fuel tank with the ignition switched on can get the pump to work.

If your fuel pump is breaking up, then the job's a bit nastier than just replacing it..the injectors may be contaminated/blocked, the common rail will need flushing out, the tank and all the fuel pipes-flow and return should be flushed out too.
